Nice little verse Beneteau. I miss my companions also. Always liked my dogs more than most people. I don't ever remember one trying to lie, cheat or steal from me. Never did they say a bad word about me. They always showed love and just wanted loved. 0 -
My son's dog is 9 and she's beginning to slow down. Hips are shot from chasing too many balls at top speed.

I'm with you fellas on missing our furry loyal buddies. I can't wait to see my awesome 4 legged friends again, I miss em everyday. Can't say that about a lot of people I've run across in my life.

the one ON my feet is 14 and am really hoping he at least makes it into next year so as not to go during the holidays
wife and i are taking turns sleeping on the couch so as not to make him do the steps to bed, he has fallen several times already, but still going strong otherwise...
he still wants to chase balls, even if he is tired out after 3-4 short romps

Rainbow Bridge writing is by anonymous from way back and i found diff versions of this writing from buddys viewpoint so i tweaked it and added my last line....granddad got this place in 1919 and i grew up here and moved in after he died in 1964...got several buds buried here and when i go i want my ashes scattered here with them.... 0
