    The police arrive it is wise for the off duty cop/good guy with gun to have your pistol holstered if at all possible and your hands clearly visible and empty. Article seems to indicate that the dead guy may have been involved in the original disturbance.

    I don't know why the cops shot him nut in his pictures in the Army he is throwing gang signs with his cover/PC on backwards.

    Bradford?s Facebook page indicates he was a US Army engineer, though he did not serve or complete advanced individual training, an Army spokesman told CNN

    Wonder why?

    Was he hanging out with gang bangers?



    Whatever the reasons I feel sorry for his family and their loss.

    I call BS on the story of the PD.

    My neighbor was a witness. The GI was waving everyone back and advancing on the prep . A fat cop showed up, ran behind the GI and shot him in the back of his head. Notice how it took the Hoover PD 2 days to come up with a story.

    Entire community is pissed. The GI had NOT been involved in any argument prior to the shooting.

    OK, you armchair idiots, give us your version.[:(!]

    I remember what all the "witnesses" supposedly saw and said to the media at the outset of the Michael Brown affair in Ferguson. Which departed widely from what the actual witnesses told police occurred. Hands up, don't shoot...what a fraud

    hobo you have my version. I suggest you get your witness friend to someone that will listen, and no not the media. If it's not a blood thirsty, anti-cop raycist version they will not listen or they will contort and take it out of context big time as I hope you know.

    Don't forget Laquan McDonald in chitcago. Just robbed a liquor store and was high on drugs(can't remember what kind)taunting the LEOs with a knife in his hand then shot, yet was portrayed as an innocent victim of police brutality and shown on TV with a red graduation gown and cap on at the age of 17.

    You are assuming a bunch to know nothing about it. Shows just how racists you are.

    I have never made a negative remark about any LEO before, but blindly supporting some who commits murder is not my thing.

    This cop should never be allowed to carry a gun after his prison sentence.

    In an upscale mall, you have to figure that there is plenty of HD video. The PD isn't going to weasel out of this disaster.

    Assuming the officer did something improper. Time will tell, but assuming he/she did something wrong is just as bad as assuming that the police lie, or that the guy with gun did something wrong. Just like the bouncer being shot in Chicago, there is conflicting information being shared.

    The report I heard was that he was running from the scene of the shooting with a gun in his hand. If so he was pretty stupid.

    If he was in fact confronting the psycho with his hand gun and was shot from behind by the officer, that officer needs to be charged and prosecuted.

    Like someone said there has got to be lots of video.
