congress and the president

how do we replace all of congress and the president with middle or lower class working folks [?]

and then have term limits so they cannot become lifetime politicians

    A few years.decades back there were a lot of military junta's happening....mostly in South America, I don't think it really works out to good for the common citizens, they remain common [:(]

    we have limited choice most money wins most of the time .
    Joe bag of doughnuts with even a few million dollars would not get out of the starting gate no major backing no party endorsement
    even if a hail Mary election congress and senate would never go along with shooting them self in the foot by cutting there time limits or perks
    we all know the only true solution clean house and start over but no one ( well enough people who are willing ) is is going to toss away there family
    home and life for that unlike our forefathers who risk and a lot lost it all to get us a free country and here we are now both parties truly want to be just supreme leader china and NK come to mind

    It's about money. You need lots of it to run for office and both parties have the purse to put their candidates into office. The democrat who ran against our republican incumbent in the Texas midterm elections, raised $60 million dollars for his campaign. This is a job that pays about $500,000 per year and it is a 4 or 6 year term. ( I forget) . You suppose the people who supplied that kind of funding were doing it out of their generous pee picken hearts ? Or would just give it to anybody ?


    You need connections that expect you to take care of them before they open up their wallet and provide that kind of money. The 2 party's have all the power and money. They take it from the working class to make themselves wealthy via corruption in office. You will never get a chance to vote for a middle class or poor family member.

    just ask hildibeast about donations when she was all but guaranteed the office money came in from around the world she was in the cat bird seat
    the klinton scam the fools I mean foundation I understand lost a huge chunk of donations after she was shot down by Trump [:D][:D][:D]
    contracts inside information some one high up pushing your agenda / company worth billions they will throw the cash to them

    The original plan was for "citizen legislators". Elected to meet expectations of the voters on a TEMPORARY basis. Then the "career politicians" took over. Their intent is to follow the money regardless of the effect on our country.
    I'd like to see a restriction of 6 elected positions per LIFETIME regardless of when/where.
