He whistled that tune so much over my lifetime it became a big part of my memories of him! I did not even know the name of the song until I looked it up on the internet, several years after his passing back in 1993![:0]
On those special occasions or times I wish I could talk to him, I will play his favorite song. Just like magic! I can still hear and see him as that old melody rings in my ears![^]0 -
I can't remember if dad had a favorite Christmas song. he died dec. 17th 1987
mom, however loved silver bells. she died dec. 19th 2011

I miss my dad too, yesterday would have been his 89th birthday. He passed away 25 years ago this past August. Still feels like yesterday. [:(]
