My Dads Response To Rap Music
Before my Dad moved into the country a black family moved into the neighborhood and he was washing and waxing his car in the street playing his music really really loud.
My Dad walked over and asked him to turn down the music that he did not want his kids to hear it and that he did not like the language.
The man said he could play his music as loud as he wanted until 10pm. That was the law of the town.
My Dad laughed and told him he was right.
He went home and took his guitare peavey speakers 2 about 5 feet high and hooked up his amp and played old country. Hank Williams, Lorreta Lynn, the guys on hee haw.
After about 4 hours the man begged him to stop. He never played loud music again. LOL
My Dad did not have a mean bone in his body but he usually got his way.

used to do that in the barracks, in open squad bay, 53 of us, 3 of us white, got me a cassette of some old time fidddle, banjo, blue grass, if the other guys wouldn't turn theirs down, I cranked it up, usually resulted in a lot more yelling than music, but in the end they would turn theirs down.......[;)] 0 -
