Any shooting/hunting spots near Lubbock, TX?

My clan (4 sisters, 2 brothers, 15 second generation, 12 or so third generation) is planning to get together next June as a family reunion.

We went to a church camp in New Mexico last time and enjoyed the cafeteria, Horse riding, rifle range and other activities but it was too far away (especially for us KY folks)

Now #5 (sister) has taken over arrangements and is planning on us all staying in Lubbock. (She's the one with "issues" so we are very concerned about making any suggestions, etc. about other plans)

Several of us are not excited about playing musical houses, etc and want some other outside activities, especially for some of us males who can handle only so much femininity.

Are there any prarie dog towns that need aggravating? Feral hogs to be harvested? Tin cans that are talking back? We've got time to plan if anyone has any ideas.
