Check out the sports section some time they have really good gun or survival books.
Some times they are written for beginners in the 6th grade. LOL
Make sure you go to the bottom of the page to get to the free books. This sight is ran by Amazon so its ok.
Check out some of the other genres there might be something you like. Most are authors just starting out. I have found some great books from no name authors and if it is not good just delete it because it was free.
