I'm friendly with a cop from a neighboring city. I've known him since he was in college 20 years ago. Several years ago he was on a well being check and the subject of the check approached him with a samurai sword. He too wanted something and got it...one .40 JHP center mass dropped him dead as he approached. It happens.
