Favorite Knife Maker

I was wondering which knife most people like. I have more Kershaw knives than anything else.

I carry either a Kobalt utility knife or a Kershaw Onion every day. Depends on what i am doing.

I have 1 Spyderco knife i bought for 25 cent. Its a nice knife just to big for every day carry.

To me a Kershaw Onion or Leek is about the perfect size.

I have some small old timers that are nice but they were Christmas presents from my parents and my Dad is dead now and i would hate to lose them so they stay in the safe.[:(]

    Not really a knife man. I carry a Gerber, have a couple Ka-Bar fixed blade. One came from a Search & Rescue vet and I keep it in his honor. Have in the past carried a Buck 110 .

    +1 on the Kershaws. Pete used to come hunt on a ranch owned by some good friends of mine during deer and elk season. He's one hell of a fine gentleman and built quite a company for himself.

    There are many good ones out there, but I've stuck with just two brands over the years: A Spyderco has always been clipped in my pocket for the last 25+ years, the brand has served me well. A "tanto blade" Benchmade folder was/is an ever present fixture on my web gear. It holds an incredible edge and has been used for countless things that I'm sure the designers never contemplated. Like an old Timex watch, it's taken a severe licking and just keeps on "ticking". Great piece of steel.

    As mentioned before based on my influence the girls are now avid dedicated users of EDC knives and tools

    For fixed blades the cricket obake is preferred

    For folders it's Swiss army / victornox

    For custom blades they both have taken an interest in the work of Kay Foye (kayfoye.com) not only for performance and utility but also for appearance and style
