    Ok, thanks. I forgot how to do it. A buddy offered me his 8" Python, and I want to know the price range. I wonder how much the difference in price is between dealer price, and private sales.

    Within completed auctions, select HIGHEST NUMBER OF BIDS FIRST. That will drop all the no bid guns to the bottom of the list (you don't care about guns that were listed with unrealistic prices.)

    Some folks will bid higher for a dealer's gun, since the buyer has the assurance provided by using a credit card. But, a minty gun offered by a private seller with a lot of good feedback will always do well.

    Personally, I'd pay a lot less for an 8" Python. A long barrel makes sense if you are hunting with a large bore revolver, but I can't think of any use for a long barrel on a .357 mag.
