    I Carried one of those in 1957, Camp Pendleton,2nd ITR.

    lots of fun shooting (with tracers) not so much carrying.

    I doubt too many here on the forums could bid on these. We have an SOT so could buy and retain this but since it is not transferable it would be just a show piece until we could find another dealer to unload it to. This would be perfect for a place that does machine gun rentals, one of the things we have planned for the future but not the close enough future for us to buy it. $10,000 would be a bargain for a rental place.

    If it were transferable it would sell for $40-50000 probably.

    There are a few C&R transferable machine guns.....and they are VERY expensive. My father used to deal with machine guns back in the 80's....but he let that part of his business go and I never had much to do with them past knowing a few people that had them.

    Right now I'm helping two separate people that used to be FFLs. They are both retired and let their licenses go. Both of them have both types of firearms....some transferable and some dealer samples that were pre 86 so they could keep them when they let their licenses go.

    If there was one gun law I could change it would be the 1986 cutoff, all that did was turn a part of gun ownership into a rich mans game.

    How many here would buy a new machine gun at normal market prices? I would have a few [:D]
