I hate people that
Does a good deed or donate something to a worthy cause or to somebody and has to brag about it to everybody.
It makes you wonder if they did it to really help somebody out, or if they just did it so that they can brag about to get their brownie points...
I think everybody donates their time, money or something of value to somebody or some organization either often or sometimes.but most people do it because it is just out of the goodness of their hearts, and not to be able to tell somebody that they've done something good.
which brings us back to the type of people that I hate, that has to brag about their Good Deeds that they do. I just think they do it so that they can tell everybody else what they did so people will think they're a good person....
Now mind you, sometimes I will tell somebody that I did a good deed or donated sometime to somebody or an organization that needed it, but that's only when it's necessary for me to tell the person or people I'm telling it to.

Well for instance, if I made arrangements to go shooting with some buddies and then I found out somebody needed me to go donate sometime to a worthy cause. I will call my buddy and tell him, hey I can't go, I'm going to go do this instead....

Or somebody asked me after Thanksgiving what I didfor Thanksgiving, and if I delivered meals to the elderly, I wouldn't Lie to them. But I wouldn't go around telling everybody, "guess what I did for Thanksgiving"....0 -

You got to wonder about and watch for anybody who thanks those who were charitable - or claimed to have paid their charity forward or attempted to do penance for them or credit them with helping you help others...

just a guess i would bet every one on gb forum has helped some one even many people countless times over the years and never spoke of it . shoveling a drive way giving a few dollars , buying a meal or three helping with projects buying kids presents that would have not gotten any and never spoke of it . to name a few . from what I have read on here I truly think its second nature to all of us
there is times not for bragging but maybe just a odd circumstance you , me feel compelled to share not to brag but it was just so out of the ordinary problem it needed to be told
I am not talking about helping the neighbors wife while the husband he is away on a hunting trip[}:)][}:)] that's a whole new ball game and some may actually a good deed [:0] )
my wife has mentioned when we help some one that no one will know ( maybe thing some nice thought for a change about me [B)][B)]) I just say that's all that matters to me that we know in our hearts were trying to be good no ones business what we do0 -
