    That?s from a blowout, chunk of tire still somewhat attached to the sideway took out the mudflap and reached up to the door and dented it, that?s what the saleman told me the person who traded it in said. Twas like that when I bought it, all I did was add the stickers to the back. [8D]

    That is why many don't run caps on the rear axle. If one comes unwound it can do thousands of dollars in damage. And it happens frequently.

    Caps are not the only tire that can detonate, there isn?t one cap on this truck or trailer and when they blow they can come apart just like a recap.
