    Not really. I have two, a four footer and a five footer.
    Some pet shops charge by the foot, but a private seller usually just rounds it off.

    No, not much difference between 4" & 6" prices. I have Pythons in every barrel length they made.

    The ones that really bring money are the 2.5" and 3" guns.

    6" for shooting. 4" to ponder. Since it's not quite short enough to pack and not quite long enough for target shoot. Unless adding a challenge is what you're looking for in target shooting [:D].

    Let me know when a 100 year old safe queen is ready to be fired because I doubt they will be shot enough to wear rhem out. Where as my Smiffy will have thousands of rounds fired from it in just 1 year.

    Find any US 1917 Colt or New Service and they don't have to be safe queens. I'm pretty sure some people on the forum have these weapons and will attest to the validity of my statement. [;)]

    As a general rule with classic revolvers the shorter the barrel the higher the price. All Pythons are God-awful expensive but a 4" will bring a bit more than a 6" and a 2.5" will bring 3x or more as much.

    This sounds like a Ford vs Chevy vs Dodge vs Harley vs Yamaha and so on. Almost like those days at school when one kid says ?my daddy can beat your daddy up!!?

    And lastly, I have a cheap ass Llama Mini Max .40 that I?ll put up against any Colt for an endurance contest. Thousands of rounds out of that gun and not one jam or misfire [}:)][;)]
