Time to get reaquainted with my youngest son
Picked up Kenny today, he?s going to spend a few weeks in the truck with me. Forst time we have actually had any real time together. He was only 4 when I went overseas, divorced his mother then moved to Montana, he?s 15 now.
Going to be interesting, hope we are able to get along.

My boys learned to drive 10 speeds riding with me.
Just had a moment remembering my youngest sons hand under mine on the stick - he understood road speed/engine RPM in minutes.0 -

Showing you're kid Lot Lizard's native habitat? My first was back in 1994 on I-5 headed North to Lacey, WA. Didn't know what they were until I was informed. Wish I had a dad to teach me those things [:D].

That's nice thing about being a truck driver, if you have neglected to be a good father while they're growing up, when they turn into their teens you can always entice them with your big rig once you have grown up enough to become a real father.

Tomorrow morning we will leave Gary IN and he gets to see downtown Chicago as we head into Cicero, hopefully I can get up there while it?s still dark and he can see the skyscrapers all lit up.
He seems to be enjoying the trip so far, we are on a 4 stop load, so far he got to see a lot of rural Indiana after the stop in Auburn, tomorrow 2 stops in the Chicago area and final in Minneapolis Thursday. From there is still open.
And to squash any misthoughts, we have been in contact, I?ve visited often but this is the first time we have had time like this. When he was little he was always tagging along with me and his big brother, he was chasing the coon dogs when he was 3.0 -
