    With baby it's cold outside being banned for promoting rape culture and my Rudolph Christmas special being banned for diminishing the differently able and green lighting bullying...

    Commercials like those in the link referenced above would cause a social media - social justice warrior apocalypse.

    They are kind of amusing and somewhat racy in undertone or message but still funny.

    Those are pretty funny...

    I was born in 1971 and I actually remember seeing a few of them as a kid...

    Frosted lucky charms and Notre Dame fighting drunken or magic leprechaun non withstanding those of Irish decent are not permitted to be offended buy racial stereotypes

    But aunt Jemima or Mrs butterworth are grounds for a hate crime sentencing enhancement

    Sigh.

    Don't get me wrong - baby it's cold outside is still my jam...

    But have you looked up and read the lyrics???

    The only thing missing is a Sinatra version were he ends the song saying "you money is on the dresser baby..."

    Have you considered the lyrics in many traditional nursery rhymes???

    I do quite enjoy the military training cartoon films from say 1939 through to the end of the Korean conflict...

    Though there does seem to be some attempt to erase these from history - especially with Warner Bros or Disney characters

    My dad had home film projector reels with some of these - liked them a lot as a kid - and learned a bunch of history along the way
