I am not a handloader, but I can generally identify handloading equipment. Not so much with this group.

7mm IHMSA dies. Does anyone use them anymore?

    The Dillon parts look like powder-through-flare dies, and the .338 Lapua 2-die sets go for anywhere from $30-$42 new. No idea why the seating die is missing. The rest look good as-is, IMO.

    35W is correct, Dillon 550 bell dies only, missing the holder which goes into the tool head. There are 5 different ones. Someone with a Dillon would want them.

    6 PPC and 6.5s rule in bench rest. May take a while to sell the 7mm, but you never know.

    I?m going to take a shot and surmise that, as for 7mm WSM, any, or many rifle caliber seating die would do the job of seating said bullet, as long as the case doesn?t come in contact with the die wall. Same for the .338.
    This doesn?t explain why the designated die is missing from the set.
    So... say I?d just bought a rifle in 7mm WSM and wanted to start reloading for this caliber. I have a set of 7mm Magnum dies, I could use the seating die from that set?

    International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association. If you're not familiar with Silhouette competitions, you'll likely not understand what this cartridge brought to the sport.

    What made the 7 IHMSA unique was that it was one of those hot silhouette cartridges that became a real milestone in the history of our sport. It achieved that status because it was the cartridge that largely transitioned the unlimited class from 14? Thompson Contenders to XP-100?s.

    This is still an excellent cartridge for both hunting and competition. It's very efficient.

    The reason for the missing seaters from the two Lee sets is that Lee doesn't make the seater stem properly to accommodate the newer high BC, longer VLD shaped bullets. Their standard factory seater crushes the nose and carves a ring around the top of the bullet ogive.

    Many folks pay extra to have a seater modified to work with those specific bullets and shapes so they are unwilling to part with those seaters which have been modified and work well with their current set ups.
