Today was the Wrong day to Play Chicken with me

Had a guy in a little car actually try to cut me off. In Eugene there is a massive traffic Snarl up cause of Construction. It had taken me almost a half hour to go a block. This idiot drove around everybody and tried to cut in front of me.

For a change I was in my truck and my temper was already up from sitting. My truck is lifted a slight amount Enough that I would have driven onto his hood if he had kept going.

Same Idiot back a block started honking cause I was not moving. I had pulled as far off the road as I could to let an Ambulance by. Lucky I stopped where I did cause he wanted the driveway that was in front of me and he had room to get in.

    Last summer I was stuck in traffic on the New York State Thruway...I was in a long line of cars and trucks in the passing lane near the grass median.....

    I look in my driver side mirror and I see a big Cadillac with New Jersey plates passing everybody on the shoulder...

    As he scrapes by me ...a tractor trailer about five cars ahead starts to slowly pull to his left and the Caddy continues on while honking his horn....

    He decides to pass the truck by driving onto the grass...and immediately sinks up to his axles in a swampy patch.

    Everybody that drove past him honked their horns in a salute...[:)]

    With these Idiots I would have to use reverse and never go forward. I had just let some cars in, but they had been waiting and seemed stuck. Then this guy flys up and tries to force his way in. But this was the one day I drove my truck not car and he had hit the last nerve I had.

    Cause I know the traffic is bad there I normally do not go that way. But being a none peak time I thought Maybe it would not be that bad.

    I hope Defasio Does like he says he will and do an Investigation on who planed this. With the traffic cut back from 3 lanes each way to one and then put in a narrow spot to slow traffic they are nuts.

    I prefer the azzhats to be in front of me where I can keep an eye on them. Jerks will always be jerks. If it is not going to be important 20 years from now, why get your bowels in an uproar today?

    I avoid confrontation especially on the highways even if I have to give quarter.

    Too many idiots willing to shoot you over a parking space or driving issue regardless of if they are at fault or not.

    I hate the thought of having to defend my life with potential lethal force and avoid the opportunity to do so at almost all costs.

    It just took me 6 hours to go from Ashville, NC to Pageland, SC due to traffic. Several wrecks, and side roads full of traffic lights. Sat in traffic so long creeping that my DPF light came on telling me it needs cleaning, my nerves are shot. Oh, and welcome to the south, it is no different than New Jersey now but with a funny accent!!
