Regret selling x,y,or z

I regret selling a styer AUG. it was imported and the older style hanguard and was in black. I bought it from a guy going back to England around 2005 and sold it for twice what I paid because I needed the money at the time. Regrets, yes but at the time the trigger was horrible, due to a bull pup connect feature, but man was it Nokatomi Plaza Cool to show your friends.

Do you have any regrets as far as firearms sold in the past?

    I sold two guns to fund a much nicer build. One was the gun it was replacing and the other was a S&W j-frame with a lock (to pay for the glass going on the build).... I only wish I had kept the rifle I sold.... But not completely sure why.

    I doubt I will sell any of the ones I have now. But you never know what can happen.

    Shortly after getting out of the Navy in '56 I needed money for something or other.

    A guy really wanted my Winchester Model 70 30-06...15 minutes after I sold it I regretted turning loose of it. I have wished a hundred times I still had it.


    Yup I would have bought it and regretted selling it as well.

    My wife had cancer 19 years ago....Med insurance sucked in those days, it was Christmas, the wolves were at the door and we were in a deep hole.

    I regretted selling some of the guns at that time and have actually been able to buy a couple of them back.....But Family comes first and I was thankful I had them to get out of the hole we were in at the time.
    Christmas was good, the bills got paid and the World did not fly out of orbit....

    I would do it again if I was faced with the same situation......

    Life is full of regrets. The older I get, I have realized that all of my possessions are just temporary holdings. Stuff I have chosen to be a "caretaker" of.

    I have only sold one. it was called a CROSSFIRE MK1. a 12 Ga. over a 223
    the manufacture had it more than me and after receiving the 3rd firearm they suggested I not fire it and sell it

    .455 Webley. Got a good $ but should have kept it.
    1978 HD XLCR 3k mi- mint. Didn't like the style at the time- do now.
    1972 Kawasaki H2 in blue. Thought getting $10k was awesome they're $20k now.

    A Colt Trooper bull barrel Target that I bought for $110. Convinced myself it was too heavy to wear and wasn't a .357 Mag. Stupid me.

    I responded to an ad for S&W revolver. The man had sold it. But he had a 3 screw super blackhawk with ivory (?) grips in the original red box for about the same price. Probably fired less a box of shells.

    I had to buy it but I couldn't afford to keep it long 'til some bill came up and I let it go.

    I used to jump with the guy who designed that gun. We used to sit for hours talking gun design.
    I regret selling my H&R 155 Shikari 45/70. Not a spectacular gun but someone had replaced the plastic trigger guard and barrel band with brass ones. I sold it because I couldn't shoot strong handloads in it.

    A Browning .380 made in Belgium during German occupation. Bought it from a WWII vet for $65.00. In it's original holster and appeared to be unfired. Sold it for $90.00 then found out it was pretty rare...[V]
