Jury Duty

Well it seems like i have been called again. I am 51 and this is the second time i have been called.

The first time they kicked me off the panel.

2 black men rapped and killed a white woman and i was for the death penalty so they dismissed me.[V]

    Yep they mentioned that but in the end you'll still have to go again. There's pretty much no chance of getting out of it unless you tell them in court your a racist or prejudiced.


    The first time I got asked for jury duty was when I was about 20. I had the flu and couldn't report in. I got another letter that I have pulled jury duty about 8 years later. son of a gun if I didn't have the flu again. The third time was about 15 years later, shoot, I got the flu again... It's worked me all three times




    That won't work here. I was supposed to go on jury duty back in June but I had already made plans to go to Bowling Green for the Holley Hot Rod reunion. Your allowed one postponement but you have to make it up within 6 months.
