I have noticed a lot of people on here, have or know someone that has cancer. Why can't we find a cure????????? This dreaded disease is running rampant in this country. My niece, Myself, Beltloop, Don's wife and many more. If you are the praying type, Please say a prayer or kind word for these people. Can we please make this a sticky Mods..???

    Spent the day in the Vanderbilt hospital, for tests on the wife.
    The end results are she has less than 1 year. They want her to take cemo, too extend her life. Also to maybe ease some of the pain.

    Question does cemo ease pain or extend life? or is it a gimme yo money scheme?

    I'm more upset then she is, Don't seem fair, but I can't think of anybody who to give it to if I could.

    Today is the 2 year anniversary of my stage IIIB+ colon rectal cancer diagnosis and I was given referrals to hospice and considered walking dead with less then 30 days on the clock...

    And separate from the platinum based chemotherapy and radiation treatment if I can offer any advice please do not hesitate to request it...

    My cancer had spread to the lymph nodes and had blocked nearly 100% of internal iron absorption.

    We are your friends and peers and colleagues - share with us and lean on us as needed.

    Please send my best to your daughter. I was also diagnosed with this type of cancer a little over two years ago. I share her pain and wish the best for her recovery. I have had number of treatments/surgeries for the original cancer and now being treated for a metastasis to the liver. After 4 months of chemo, just today had my 2nd of 5 SBRT radiation sessions. As my surgeon said to me in the first 5 minutes of meeting him. Your battle with this disease will be a marathon not a sprint.

    Tell her not to keep fighting and never give up.

    just a thought maybe start a go fund me page ?

    I am sure with the history of some of our survivors and people on here
    that have been thru it they may also guide you to organizations that will help with the cost ?
    just having cancer is worry and stressful enough not to add on the cost of treatment to the mix
