UGLY Guns
It always gives me a chuckle when a group of guys can come to an agreement that a gun is "ugly". I agree sometimes. It speaks volumes for our addiction.
Just what does make a gun "ugly"? It usually has absolutely nothing to do with "utility". It sometimes has nothing to do with the presence of wood stocks. Do you have a favorite "ugly gun"? What do you think makes a gun "ugly"?

Most new guns in my opinion. I truly dislike plastic and laminated stocks with parkerizing etc in lieu of nice quality wood and deep rich blued steel.
However, this is about as but ugly as it gets IMHO

Wife just bought us a Savage 1212 bolt action Slug gun with plain black Tupperware furniture.
It definitely wins the ugliest weapon in our gun safes.
When I get home, it will get the leaf, limb homemade paint job.

Hah! you guys are missing out. After you buy one of those it transforms into a pristine Model 94 Win, made in 1895.[:D]
I agree Chiappa Rhino ranks right up there. As does the Mossburg. Some of the Savage rifles are plain jane verging on outright ugly, but they shoot so well you can kinda forgive them.

Yep, bolt action rifles with cheap-ass black plastic stocks, and parkerized/matte finishes. Those matte finishes are just a cover-up for poorly finished metal.0 -

There's a lot of some what obscure ones some of them have been mentioned here. But for a much more common gun its hard to beat a Glock. 0
