    my oldest son ( 32 ) has a passion for trains as much / more as some us do about guns . sells books on trains and slides as a side line

    I've been in several engine cabs, they are really neat when you can focus on one thing at a time.

    That model is kind of an odd duck.
    Not really sure why BN uses them, possibly some kind of fuel savings?
    On the exterior shots, you might notice the cylinder at the 2nd and 4th axles. It' not a brake cylinder, but some sort of weight distribution device to minimize wheel slip.

    That locomotive has only 4 traction motors, as opposed to 6 on most 6 axle locomotives.
    I've never looked inside the side doors, but I assume it's the same 16 cylinder engine used in the other big road motors, just fewer traction motors=less tractive effort to the rails.
    You can tell from the video, that one still smells like new car.
    They should use it to transport the criminal Warren Buffet straight to prison!
