One thousand and forty-nine pages of authentic 19th Century knowledge & advice with illustrations and suggestions on how to deal with Farm Problems, all in an overall pocket-sized tome!
Entries do not require purchase or remuneration of any sort, you just have to Farm a patch of land over 5 acres.

Drawing will take place 7July at noon, MST.
Bonus consideration given if;
Family farm
Under 20acres
No corn or soybeans
Exotic#8203; crops(Hops, Ginger, Maryjawanna, Winesap Apples, etc)
Plants AND animals

I had an elaborate and complicated system to choose the winner of this edutainment Giveaway, but with only 2 1/2 entries; it came down to a coin toss!

    Looks like I only make 2 of your bonus considerations: family farm 3rd generation beginning 1933 and grow grass/hay/Grandkids' goats.
    450 acres, 200 of which have been in the family for 85 years.
    The operator (me) has been farming for over 50 years.
    Currently 3 generations involved in the operation.
    Diversified operation producing grass, hay, row crops, and livestock.

    The Ultimate Guide to Farm Mechanics combines 3 classic farming texts for the first time, compiling knowledge from the best sources published since 1884. The book is divided into 3 parts: the first covers general skills like woodworking and blacksmithing; the second is dedicated to farm engines & how to run them; the third teaches how to construct classic labor saving devices such as an effective milking stool, plowing gear for a kicking mule, and a nest for egg-eating hens.     5 acres, 3 horses, 7 goats, I don?t know how many chickens, free range, and a bunch of wild plum brush, smattering of apple trees, and the ever present mulberry weeds.

    I own 2 cows also, but they bounce between a buddies farm and my pasture with their calves.

    Big garden.

    Not a family farm, though, at least not my family.
