the importance of sports??

Local news(if you consider anything within 80 miles local)stated that a community college basketball coach had been nabbed for DUI "second offense". Was he removed? NO, he won't be allowed to participate in TWO games while the team scrambles to make it through those games w/o his input.
What does this show the college students? It seems a game is more important than a life lesson about something as serious as drunk driving.

  If you get a DUI do you get two days off from work, in addition to what the courts throw at you? One is employment, the other law enforcement.
  If a coach has specific contract items that is another problem.
