Gunnut505 RIP
I am sad to report the passing of my friend Gunnut505, Joe Woolston, 13 July, 2018. Joe had a cardiac event in May and was in rehab, but had a fluid build-up which ended with him on a machine. Per his wishes the family terminated treatment. I spoke with his brother today who confirmed this information.

Thanks Chris, I cannot say Joe was a close friend, but we were becoming firm friends. We did a few gun shows together, the ones I don't work, and he always stopped by gun check when I was working. Several breakfasts together including one with Wundudnee, and we were planning a Tulsa show as well. Joe was a funny guy and a great story teller. He would tell story after story and have you laughing so hard you could not eat. They were the kind of stories you knew had to be pure 100% unadulterated BS. And they were all true. I will miss the guy. He lived a full life, but is surely gone too young at 62. 0 -
Joe and I were becoming friends as well. I am truly saddened to hear this news.

He was particularly supportive of me throughout my ongoing struggle against cancer...
He was always concerned if I went any length of time without posting...
The number of folks whom will meet me in the afterlife who carried my standard and supported my shield arm - who lent me strength grows by one again today.

Through his generous nature, he sent me multiple unsolicited boxes of South Western Chili goodness. I was constantly surprised when another box would show up. I saw his shipping charges, and knew what he was shipping me was not cheap. He would never even consider accepting any $$ from me.
We communicated via E-mail often. He was a really Good Guy. I will most definately miss him.
I have a custom Hand made skining knife, that I was going to ship him as a thank you. Could not get in touch with him.
I will be doing a giveaway of that knife, to a Member here in the near future, in his Honor.
