Here's mine. I'll never feel undergunned w/ my .45. A flashlight and 2 spare mags complete the kit.

I keep a S&W model 14 38 special in my bedside table,,If I get woke up out of a dead sleep I do not want to have to worry about remembering safeties and such.. I have a 12ga pump within real close reach if something else happens. 0 -

In a stressful situation I am likely not even going to hear it. Auditory occlusion is common in shootings. The flashcan does a good job sending the blast forward, my 11"5" Commando seems louder than this 8.5" .300.0 -

You're right, probably won't in that moment but that ringing in your head will remind you of that moment for the rest of your life.

on my side is a well used super easy to pump mossberg 12ga loaded with 00 buck and a colt series 80 with an extra mag , and a good light. on the other side of the bed ( the wifes side ) is a taurus 66 and a mossberg 12 loaded with xx buck, and a good light ! if you come into the house better hope i am the one to get up ! she will not f%^*((&^$# around and is a dead shot ! 0 -
A Smith and Wesson M+P .38 Special, manufactured in 1928.
And, an 1858 Remington .44 "Sheriff's" model with 5 1/2 inch barrel by Pietta, this is really a nice gun. Five shots hammer down on an empty cylinder. 35 grains black powder and a .457 round ball.
Depends on what mood I am in, whether I want to go 20th century, or 19th century on the bad guy.0 -

Bed adjacent
Mossberg 500 pump action military style pistol grip 12 gauge shotgun with perforated heat shield for the bbl and spare ammo receiver side saddle and Mag tube cap green laser emitting device
Under bed
MP40 SMG chambered in 9mm with the underfolding skeletonized metal shoulder stock - 30+ round high cap stick mags
So I think I am covered for preliminary initial contact and response

Ruger LC9s with laser close at hand, and a 20 ga. 870 that someone left in their car trunk until one side was rusted all to heck, that I cut down to just barely legal size, loaded with some handloads consisting of 1 50 cal. round ball topped of with #6 shot. Makes a nice pattern at 15 yards surrounding a 1/2" hole. Outside, the AR comes into play. 0 -

Depends. It's either A S&W 44mag. Trail Boss, Colt 4" SS King Cobra, Springfield SS 1911 45ACP or FNX9 with 17 round mag. 0
