    Larry used to actually work on these things. He has always loved watches and even went to horology school. He had friends that were much older than us he followed to trade days and bought watchmaker benches and parts from a few retirees. Our barn has boxes and boxes of tiny glass vials that are filled with tiny gears, little boxes with tiny paper envelopes with replacement crystals for long forgotten watches.

    I just listed the small amount of info I retained about watches from Larry's bygone days. I'm sure there are people that could find the exact year these were made and could give a lot more detail.

    Its funny.....Larry came home from work and once things were settled down he was smiling. I asked him what he was happy about.....he said "your desk is ticking, I love that sound"
