    no, the meat is perfectly fine. albinism is a genetic mistake, but does not affect the health in any way detrimentally.......side note...white county illinois is also home to the white squirrels[not albino] in Olney .

    Albinism is not a freak of nature nor is it a genetic mistake. It is a recessive trait that requires a gene for albinism from each parent. I occurs more often in some local populations than in others. The gene for blue eyes in humans is also a recessive gene, but is affected by poly genes with affect the exact color of blue.

    Albino deer are illegal to harvest in Illinois. White privilege DOES exist!

    They are illegal here in Wis. also, but they are fairly common in my area. They are going to have to eliminate some of them soon or they will be as common as the black squirrels. All they do is take the place of a brown one, eating the food. I have several on my tree farm, and the first time you see one it is unique, but after that they are kind of a pain.
