deer pics
Deer season opens again here Saturday. Went out to the farm for a minute this afternoon to check stands and have a quick look. Always take my camera with me, and got some shots of this guy. Nice horns, but a skinny little thing. From the look of his neck, the rut is over, and this guy looks like he spread his genes around quite often from his weight (or lack thereof)!

I just realized myself, my oldest son, and now my youngest son have all taken 8 pt bucks in the same creek bottom, all withing 100 yds of each other. Mine was in '06, oldest son '07, and now youngest son '08. 0 -

Thanks y'all. These kinda bucks didn't exist when I was a kid hunting as it was mostly just grasslands Now we grow a pile of corn and soybeans here and other crops that are high in calcium and other nutrients
Kids and I have a couple deer on game cam pic.. I've never seen them in the day light which is why they are as big as they are ..one in particular that's truley a giant and the other is too but a completely different type of rack Not sure I could even contain myself if I get the one in the cross hairs and I get zero buck fever normally If we don't get them I'll wait to post that pic after season0
