There is one aspect of Trump's presidency that deeply concerns me. So many of his administration people are appointed then within a few weeks he is publicly criticizing them until they quit and then he really insults them. Why did you hire such terrible people, Mr. President? Why are you such an ass about this? Is this how you do things in your corporation management? If I were offered a position in the Trump Administration I would decline.

I agree with Doc. The man is either a totally awful judge of people, or he's a vindictive tyrant. I never watched it, but that Apprentice show he did where he arbitrarily fired people should have been a clue of what his Presidency would be like.

I'm troubled by some and others not so much. For the most part, I like the things he has done. Don't pay any attention to news reports, but watch the Federal Register and departmental guidance documents. On the other hand, the dismissal of his first Secretary of State troubled me.... 0 -

I was hopeful that when the enormity of having actually been elected POTUS hit him, that possibly he would grow up/mature a bit, and quit acting like a spoiled 12 year old.

It's less than 2 years for Trump and he's made a lot of personnel changes for such a short time.
More than just the revolving door of his administration is the insults and public criticism of people he initially heralded as great. Other presidents do this? I missed it.

IMO, i think he will be a 1 and out no matter what. simply because of health problems. look how much the job itself has aged every President in our lifetime. 4 years in the Oval Office is 20 years on the workbench. remember, he started at 75..i personally don't see him finishing out this term because of health reasons. 0 -

Trump has done more for freeing up jobs than anyone can know because the MEDIA does not report it.
Just got an article in our local paper about the paddle boat will be running the rivers again,,not because of Obama, he stopped it, because of Trump who signed the law letting the company start up AGAIN. It was because a wooden ship could not carry passengers overnight!!. Yea, great. Now in 2020 it will employ 170 people and run the rivers BECAUSE Trump put a stop to the archaic law that Barry didn't renew. Just ONE example.0 -

The show was designed that way, the last one standing won, he had to fire someone until only one was left.
In his own businesses he didn't fire that many people. With business that large there were, of course, people fired. But he didn't look for reason to fire people.
If you read some of his books you'll find out he has a lot of respect for most of the people in his company and tries to let them play to their strengths.0 -

We need to understand that he is dealing with a lot of political power brokers and the greedy self serving republican leadership. He has to rely to some extent on these peoples recommendations as he hasn't been in the game long enough to make all his own contacts and get to know the people available for these positions that well.
He gets lead astray on some of these appointments. What is he to do, let the person stay in the position even though they are not doing the job that's needed? Just because he appointed them based on other's recommendation doesn't mean he has to tolerate them not doing the job.0 -
