On the tractor was a big stout farm boy, he was following the Budweiser truck being towed by the draft horses to the nearest bar....regardless of the weather deliveries have to be made you know [:D]0 -

On ice or hard pack, horses with "corked" (calked-thick shoes with sharp cleats added) shoes can get an amazing amount of traction. Back in my "cowboy" days, I kept one horse shod with "corks" for use on frozen ground. Plain steel shoes are worse than useless at such times. Not for long distance use as there's a high potential to "stove up" the horse or have injuries due to clipping itself with the "corks". 0 -
weather people can always change their story and still stay employed 0
