In the Eugene 4J School District, about half of third graders who were tested in English met expectations. About half of eight graders tested in math also met expectations.
As for graduation rates, 87 percent of ninth graders were on track to graduate and 74 percent of seniors graduated on time. That?s a slight decrease from last year.
Springfield School District saw a big improvement in graduation rates. Nearly 90 percent of ninth graders were on track to graduate, up 10 percent from last year.
Nearly 70 percent of twelfth graders graduated on time, up 5 percent from last year.
About half of third graders in Springfield met English requirements, which is also up from last year. While only 30 percent of eighth graders met requirements in math, that it still a slight improvement from last year.

On Wednesday morning, officials with the state Department of Education said they were delaying tomorrow?s planned release of the ratings until after the election.
Officials said this was because federal law changes unfairly skewed results for schools where students opted out of standardized tests. They also said materials to help struggling school districts were not ready yet, and the delay had nothing to do with the election.
Following backlash, including from Republican candidate for governor Knute Buehler, Gov. Kate Brown ordered the release of the ratings Wednesday afternoon.
Seems they are to worried about the Homeless and Illegals and forgot the kids.
