storm coming

looks like we have a little hurricane headed to us. if it goes as predicted i will be on the eastern side, that sucks. weve had a LOT of rain the past two weeks and the ground is full, may lose some trees if the wind blows much. just ordered a new vaquero .357 and it may be here by friday, think ill just load some cartridges. we usually have some pretty nice weather after a storm passes.

    im pretty sure we were in the eye for most of the storm. this storm was pretty much all eastern quadrant and that mostly stayed to the east of me. all in all "much ado about nothing". this time.

    little rain on the river south of our lake place ...guage showed a raise of 30' in 8 hour on August 14-15 several years ago at our lake place i watched the lake rise 36' in 48 hours..made a REAL pond out of it..water was slopping over the top of the flood gates before they opened them and the rushing water swirling in the outflow basin made pads of foam 4'-5' thick ...
