chitcago is planning on taking away a highway named to honor one of its leading citizens and RENAME it for obummer...totally expected, after all we are talking about a BLACKtop.......

    When I lived there in the late 70's we called it the "Nairobi 500." It had more wrecks, broken down cars, traffic jams and unsafe exits than Saddam suffered in our kicking him out of Kuwait.

    That reminds me I wonder if the city of Seaside still has obama way? They renamed Broad Way to this when he was in office. Be funny if it got renamed Trump Way [:D][:D][:D].

    Yosh, are you referring to Seaside Oregon??

    I spent a couple nights there renting an efficiency pad right across the street from the towns aquarium. This was back in '96 and was as close to the California border as I have ever been.

    I enjoyed eating the homemade clam chowder and watching the locals fishing off the bridge for Dungeness crabs!

    Brookwood - Seaside California. Broadway used to be the main street that ran through the black neighborhood. These days obama way is more Vato Locos. Lost the few Soul Food joints to Mexican joints. Not that the soul Food joints were all that good.

    I was reading about this story yesterday. A relative of Mayor Daly SUGGESTED that the Dan Ryan's name be changed to the name of the Kenyan imposter.

    Mayor Daly was the one that named the expressway after political boss Dan Ryan. Dan Ryan's relative are furious about the suggested change.

    As far as I could tell, there is nothing planned YET.
