    EPA

How about Oil Refinery's? There was not one built in the US between 1998 and 2014 and in the last 4 years only 4 have been built.

The President is trying to change this - and getting a lot of flak for doing it. I don't like tariffs, but when enemy (and friendly) countries are using them against us, we need to fight back. I'm glad we finally have a fighting President.

You sure? I thought employees in US cost too much. Besides the Mexicans are building homes with Mexican nails in the US [:D].

For sure steel unions had a little something to do with it also.

We are having a hard time buying from American Companies we have dealt with in the past they have really jacked up their prices and the lead time went from Weeks to Months.

Lucky we do not have much to buy cause we are set for the year. Hope it calms down by the time we need to buy.

Big River Steel in Osceola, AR.
Just announced a 1.5 Billion Dollar Expansion.

Give Trumps Administration time. He is right, other countries have been undermining our Aluminum and steel industries for decades.

Several years ago, one of my sons did an internship for the CFO of Alcoa Aluminum. Russia was dumping Aluminum on the world market below cost.

Trump is the first president in my voting lifetime to take on the challenges of our time.

Most steel mills were closed many years ago because of cheaper imported steel. When I worked in the mills at the end of Lake Michigan we were all union and I didn't see anyone getting rich, just getting by.

I don't believe that there are any lead mining left in the US due to the EPA. That could explain the US steel production.
