Just discovered that although I filled out paperwork in their office, at the same time - to average my monthly billing (Electric Co.) and allow auto withdrawal, these idiots went with auto billing/deduction but never instituted the averaging of my bill.

Overdrafted my account. Cost me $135. I'm seriously PO'd. I hope they are open tomorrow, I plan on going in there and raising some Hell. Im going to insist on the Averaging we discussed, and withdraw auto pay.

F'n Morons. Grrrrr........................

    I got a "one time use" credit card number. It seems pretty self-explanatory. The credit card company allowed a 2nd charge.

    If they do not make me whole, I plan on discussing it with my Bank, to back charge them for the overdraft fees they created/caused.


    They are the only game in town/county. Doing business with another entity is not an option.

    What, did you forget to confirm??? I never leave to chance when it comes to my money with anybody.... Always confirm, it only takes a phone call the next day....

    I used to pay like that until I learned to read my meter after a few errors. Now I double check the meter and send in a payment online, calling only if the estimated read is over the actual meter reading. As long as you do't go past the end of the next billing cycle you are good to go. In the summer the bill is 125-175 in the winter, 60-80. I just plan on it being 100 bucks but I am in total control of how much they get and when. I round up to the next 5-10 bucks and schedule the auto pay from my bank. I am no longer at the mercy of someone goofing up. If some one goofs up all I have to do is look in the mirror to find the guilty party.

    Good luck with them and your bank. The branch manager can usually fix things for you.

    got ya....last winter the PREPAID propane delivery for our lake place never happened.....last part of FEb, March, and first of April was not cold enuff to do any damage....THIS winter i find NO delivery since i hollered last APRIL...been sending phone calls and letters to the office ,manager and last week talked directly to the route driver saying it is prepaid and i want the tank kept full...i am 200 miles away and cannot do anything if it comes a blizzard or ice storm and the tank runs EMPTY again....he said he runs the route every two weeks... been 2 days since i contacted him and my neighbor has been informed and said he would keep and eye out...BUT ????????
