It's worse than I thought...
I have been really bad the past few years about keeping caught up on my reloading. I knew that I had boxes of casings on the shelf in the reloading closet but I had also developed a really bad habit of putting a half empty box back on the ammo shelf and then grabbing a full one for the next range trip and putting it back on the shelf half empty. Had a bunch of half full boxes.
So a few weeks ago I started making an effort to get things squared away. Loaded up all the cases I could see and today I started consolidating partial boxes into fully loaded and empties with the latter taken back to the reloaded room.
What a chore.
While I was doing all this I was cleaning and organizing the ammo storage shelves. They were a mess. Since I was there, I decided to do a quick inventory.
Now, I knew I had a fair amount of ammo stockpiled. But I wasn't ready for the final tally. I have 30,000+ rounds of 22 rim fire and 20,000+ of various center fire ammo on hand. I couldn't use it all up in what remains of my lifetime if I tried.

Congratulations! Now you have time for other worthy hobbies, like shooting it all up.
I do like to hunt. I have a few rifles and slug guns with a lifetime supply of hunting ammo, and I've only got what's left of this life I'm living to use it. Maybe my sons will do me the favor of finishing it up for me.
I have enough bird shot for a few season of bird hunting. I do hope I get to use that up and more to boot.0 -
Funny thing with .22 ammo cheap now, sales are slow. If you had waited could probably have twice as much .22 ammo for the same money. 0 -

I go to the range every Wed and Friday. Plenty of time to blast away. 0 -
I( didn't buy black market price 22 ammo. A little cheaper now but not that much. 0
