Picasa Photo Software Question
I've used Picasa for years but it looks like they are folding. What do you folks use to upload and modify pictures to your computer?

I use Gimp and can be compared to photoshop. If the gimp interface and commands are similar to what you now use it's a good choice.

Probably way more than you need but it's Free and it's updated periodically. Downloads from their site can be found of the net.
PS: I use the "windows snipping tool", see a photo you like, "snip" the part you want, rename and download to your computer. Selecting what you want in the download can save editing.
This "snipping" tool is BEING UPGRADED, so far have not done the upgrade, like the way it works and don't need anything complicated.0 -
My Canon camera and printers came with software for uploading and editing pictures, but for most of my editing I use Corel PaintShop Pro. 0 -
My son downloaded the HDR Projects #4 software onto my laptop. Right now, I know nothing about it. It looks complicated, buy I've yet to find out. 0 -
Thanks for the replies guys. I downloaded my software from Nikon but it will take a while to learn how to use it. I'm not stupid, just old. [:)] 0
