Trump is shutting down the government tomorrow at midnight unless he changes his mind! Stocks are tanking and oil is collapsing! No trade deal with China either until next year!

As much as Washington has demanded we sacrifice for them, I don't feel so bad they sacrifice a little.0 -

For votes and government Unions, this happens in state, county and cities as well and is a boondoggle affair with big government and wasting taxpayers dollars by politicians.

There is no sacrifice.
It becomes paid time off for most employees if I understand correctly.
True, the none essentials do not receive a paycheck during the shutdown, but when things are up and running, they get back pay for the time missed.
It you are living paycheck to paycheck, it makes for a sleepless night or two, but in the big picture, it is a benefit, not a sacrifice.0 -
