Politics Forum Dying?
On the main forum directory, I happened to notice that it's been 1-1/2 days since a post was made in "Politics". So I went there, which only happens about once or twice a year, and saw that there are only 30 posts on page one. That is going back to 11/01/18. What's up with that?

If I remember correctly, the politics forum was only really active so long as HAIRY and ElMeurtoMonkey were roaming around in it.
In the whole history of the boards, theres only been a handful of posters who have been very active over there, and pretty much all of them are gone.0 -
Maybe it should be replaced by a religion forum. Barz could moderate. 0 -

donation forum and i would be in charge of the money ???.. had a knohead try to put in some kind of committee at the lake with him in charge...fees/permits/rules etc,crap...he got a blistering letter from me that we all were at the lake to get away from S---Heads like him... the other owners all agreed with my posted letter 0 -

When I was a newly minted moderator I once posed the question to Captain Fun, "Why isn't illegal immigration treated as a political issue? after all, people base their entire political campaigns on that one issue." The good Captain's response was not what I'd call supportive of my initiative.
Captain Fun is gone and I have an idea to realign quite a few things in the various forums, including getting moderators who are actually on the job rather than maintaining many of the current mods, some of whom have not logged into the forum in two or three years. 2019 may prove to be a forum watershed.0 -
