I have 3 enfield "t" type sniper rifles with matching scopes that if I offered for auction I would expect to net somewhere in the $2500.00 to $5000.00 range each depending on the market
I have a half dozen assorted British enfields that are nice - several in mint condition that I removed from the long storage mummy wrap that I don't think would top $1000.00 even in a hot market
I have the same rifle pictured and don't think it's market value would top $750.00
I have the .410 conversion and the grenade launching dedicated platform - which nobody wanted and dealer price was under $100.00
Unless the market and value have risen dramatically recently his pricing and valuation seem beyond any reasonable estimate
I like these and the Ross rifles and the 1914 enfields but would not pay those prices - a number of his auctions seem to be ridiculously priced - unless he is doing a lot of up trading under optimal conditions with idiots
What am I missing???

Honestly I don't pay attention to auction side elicit behavior or possible scams / cheats / work arounds / or reach arounds any more.
The last few times I pointed an example out or offered an opinion on another members discovery of and objection to such behavior I got piled on and roughed up.
I have opened an auction side complaint the last 3 times prior to making a comment here or starting a thread asking for opinions or assistance.
Never heard back once from the auction side - the auctions in question continued on without interruption or alteration - the sellers accounts stayed active and they kept listing or resisting.
Mods here made it unendingly clear that they have no connection to and no influence with and no pull or weight or apparent point of communication or contact with the auction side.
So castigated and corrected and behaviorally modified I gave up.
I salute those who continue to rage against the machine but don't think you will ever get a positive response.

Bought one for around $100.00 ten years ago or so and sold it last year for around $ 300.00. While I understand the history of the Enfield, I also understand that 10s of millions were made, and other than a cock on close action (which I prefer to the Mauser cock on open) it is, frankly, not much of a rifle. 0 -
