    That gun shop is about 20 miles from me and is very well stocked.

    I almost moved to Fuquay, nice town.

    BTW Nice gun. They have another one for sale and a few M64's.

    I had a 10-6 for sale at a funshow awhile back. There was a guy following me around like a puppy dog trying to lowball me on the price. I finally sold it to him for $400.

    Nice buy. Less than 3 bills total. I looked at that one myself, but had other irons cooking. Those make good house guns.

    looked it up Ricci, shoot I was stationed at Camp Geiger, guess the beer must have erased the towns name from my memory, passed through there many a time.......

    I was an MP at LeJeune many moons ago.

    Involved in breaking up a couple at brawls at the Geiger E club.

    I have a friend who is a gunsmith who said he'd hotblue it for $60.

    Part of me would love to throw a nice set of wood grips for it too.....decisions decisions...lol

    I just posted about a Winchester 1897 pump (made in 1920) I bought that had been professionally Hot Blued. Mine also has new Boyds Mahogany stock and foregrip. I love it. I'd recommend it. It does reduce/ruin the Collector value. (As I am sure you are aware.)
    I'm not planning on selling it.

    its yours, do as YOU wish no more than you have in it, you can allways break even if you decide to get rid of it, in the mean time you will have what you want at a reasonable price
