So far so good. She was from Norway, young blond pretty and in need of a husband to stay in the country. I spent three days in the tower of the Vegas Hilton with her before dropping her at the Trop. My sons are 1,500 miles away they do not want a country life, they will not want my land or house. I hate the idea of them having to deal with selling the place from a distance.0 -

Helping move my folks into assisted living next week. It is not a happy transition. I expect that once settle there my father will die, as he knows my Mom will be in a situation where she is safe. He just turned 84, and she is 81 with progressing Alzheimer's disease. One of my Dad's passions is gardening, and leaving his flower garden in the backyard is going to really hurt him. So that is a legitimate fear. I am seeing it unfold for my folks. Dying, and not having a secure loving home for Buddy, my dog. I stress about this. I want to be able to provide the best for him. He deserves it.

I know that is a running joke but when I got hurt and my health went down, I added prices to my fire{elsewhere},,I have always kept a running list of all my guns and serial numbers just in case of fire or theft.. I have it stashed online so even if the house burns it can still be accessed.. After My health started going south I went in and added ,,in my opinion,, what each one is worth. If she goes to sell them it will keep someone from taking advantage of her0 -
