Rush hour traffic
This morning I went to town for groceries. 50 mile round trip, I met 1 car, 1 pickup, and 1 semi. It's starting to get crowded.

This morning, as we passed through an intersection with yet another traffic light being installed, I told my son we have got to get out of here it's just to damn crowded. 0 -

I had to go to Asheville yesterday.Got on I-26 at Flat Rock and could not believe how bad traffic was in the middle of the week.Coming home I got off the interstate to try to get out of the traffic jam,and was going to go through Brevard but traffic and road work was bad until I got between Brevard and Rosman. 0 -
On early evening 7-July while traveling to a night rodeo in Jackson.
Beetween Victor Idaho and Jackson Wyoming a distance of 18 miles, we counted 391 vehicles.
A few were tourists but mostly all work the workforce exiting from Jackson who make the commute from Teton valley because they can't afford rent in Jackson even if they are available.
We made same journey on the 11th and didn't count cars but should have as I bet more than 500.
The Jacksonites refer to Teton pass as "the work berm", separating the haves from the have nots.
Definitely not like it was 20/25 years ago when I hauled loads of hay or straw into the Jackson Hole area.

You guys haven't seen anything. We live about 35 miles south of Atlanta and we avoid that crap hole like the plague.

One week ago in Seattle it took me 85 minutes to go a distance of about two miles thru down town. This city has been transformed into yet another liberal infested, over crowded, traffic clogged sewer ! And yet the officials that run the city insist it is a great place to live. (what do those people smoke ?) When I first moved back here in '64 and worked nights, it was not uncommon to drive the 30 miles to Everett and back without ever seeing another vehicle on the road. No more. Every hour is "rush hour" ! This place sucks !!! 0 -

Our youngest son lives in Everett and the traffic is bad.
What's really bad is the price of houses. We had thought about moving out there a couple of years ago until we checked prices. If the house we live in now with 2,500 sq. ft, full size basement, 3 car garage, with 2 acres of land was in Everett it would sell for well over a million bucks. When our son moved out there he bought a "starter" home and it cost $364,000.
What surprised me the most was he and his wife were both able to get their concealed carry permits in that area of liberal infestation.0 -

Right along with those high high housing prices comes equally high property tax. This is the reason people with something other than one of those "high tech" high pay jobs, are being squeezed right out of that home they have been paying for over the last 40 years. retirees and the elderly are "persona non Grata". A couple of my sisters lived in Everett. One was a civil engineer, her husband a physical therapist. The both primarily used the Park and Ride going to their jobs in Seattle.
The other sister worked for Microsoft. That company must have had parking because she drove in.0 -
At rush hour which is about 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM there is a total of around eight pickup trucks, three four-wheelers and two cars that pass my intersection of two dirt roads. 0 -
This is just the way I like it. In most cases if you have car trouble someone will stop to help you too. You couldn't pay me enough money to live in a big city. 0 -
