But I may have to re-evaluate my collection now!
One of our long time but quieter members invited me to go shooting at some private property, most if not all of the firearms they had were suppressed.
(So much so I had to warn everyone to add their ears when I was going to shoot my noisy guns LOL)
Got to shoot a custom bolt action .308 with Sub Sonic ammo that was just unbelievably quiet and literally no recoil at all!
The 9mm Scorpions and B&T GHM's?, 300 Black out, Etc. Etc. All really cool stuff with excellent optics that made hitting targets easy.
I was very impressed with the sound reduction on all the guns, especially with Sub Sonic ammo, but even using regular ammo the reduction in noise was significant.
I have resisted buying anything that I had to wait 7 months to get, but perhaps it is time to invest in a "Can" or two. I have also been more than a little cheap on buying optics, this trip opened my eyes a good bit.
Our Government is STUPID to prevent people from being able to use these.

I always thought a suppressor would be most useful deer and elk hunting, might give you a second shot while they tried to figure out what was happening. 0
