Back in January I bought into (SWHC) Smith and Weson at a little over $3 a share.

Just looked at it again, and now it's almost $9 a share.

It's looking good, and I think within 2 years will hit close to $30 a share.

This drop is part of normal market movements. It will make minor corrections here and there and is healthy for the market.

If you sell all your stocks because of a 5% drop, you are a fool. Hang in there, invest long term, and you'll be fine.

M 401k went to a conservative approach cause I just had a birthday. You can go in and change what they are doing but have just been letting it ride where they put it. I have very little in actual stocks.

My stock trading account balance is about the same price it was on April 30, 2018. [:(]

About 50 / 50 stocks and cash. Light stocks, waiting to see what things look like the first week of November.

Worst performing stock is FCX,,, drats, knew I should have sold when it was 50% higher.[:p]

Deep Dow "bottom" Thursday, bounced off that bottom twice Friday (today) and made a "leg up". Analysis: Correction is over (maybe) [:D] we'll see Monday.

QQQ was up 2-1/2% Good indication for Nasdaq and up another 1/2% in after hours trading.
    What is QQQ:
The PowerShares QQQ, previously known as the QQQQ, is a widely held and traded exchange-traded fund (ETF) that tracks the Nasdaq 100 Index. ... Therefore, QQQ is heavily weighted toward large-cap technology companies and is often viewed as a snapshot of how the technology sector is trading.

For the past two years, as the stock market boomed under President Trump, hardly a word on the national news about the massive economic boom.

Last two day with a dip in the market, headline news on ABC and NBC, STOCK MARKET CRASH.
And who is to blame? You guessed it, Trump. "His economic policies are the fault...."

At least ABC and NBC are consistent, nothing good to say of our President.

A sparrow fart can cause market change in these days of day traders and funds with automatic buy-sell marks. the average American investor buys high when he has confidence and sells low when he panics. There are always corrections, but you only lose money on paper unless you sell. When it drops I buy. When it goes way up I move some to stable funds. Ain't rocket science.
