Taking of Road Kill ok'd in Oregon.

I see that "entire carcass" must be removed. Can you butcher it there since not everyone has an engine hoist on their Prius.
So to claim "dibs" do you put a post it note while you get a trailer? Man this is going to be fun. Folks fighting over fender meat and moding out their rides re-enforcing the front end.

Should not be a problem, they have been doing this for deer in Wisc. for years. Lot of people eat grilled venison. 0 -

I know guys in the midwest who carry a cordless Sawzall in their pickup from Oct 1 until March just to "harvest" road kill deer antlers.
Personally, I'm NOT going to butcher road kill. I did back up and pick up a pheasant that got clipped by my grill guard once(literally took his head right off).0 -
In PA anyone can pick up roadkill deer and call in for a permit to consume. If a buck the Game Commission MAY want the horns back. 0
