Do you MAIL Christmas cards anymore?

Call me whatever but I still mail cards out to some people. I bet I am one of the few here that still do it? It seems special to me to receive a card and note from some people. What say you?

    Yes.
    Send out about 30 to family and close friends.
    Just seems right to do it.
    Also, very nice to get some in the mail.
    it means some one took the time to and still knows how to use a pen.

    Yes. Granted, it can be something of a chore, but there is a personal touch involved in making an effort to reach out to others. (Just one redneck's feeling on the subject.)

    Mail cards to older family that do not have email. Otherwise email a card to folks with email.

    Yes. It is part of keeping old traditional Christmas activities going![:)]

    It also keeps our postal mail carriers busy and boosts the economy with all of the stamps purchased.

    Yup....yesterday I handed a handful to my mail lady...it so happened the one on top was for my neighbor across the street....she smiled at me...took out her pen, made a check mark on the stamp....walked across the street and put it in his mail box....

    How's that for express service, and it didn't cost me ten bucks....[:)]

    Yep, 35 or so. Every 3-4years I make a card from pictures of our years activities, this year we had Walmart print them, including envelop they were 30 cents each; and then and we include a short generic letter ... This was one of those years

    I've sent about 20 per year for bout the last 40 years. However, the last couple of years I've been thinking about sending one that says "hey, let's stop..." (well, in a nice way)

    This year, however, I mailed about 10 to WRAMC addressed to "a recovering soldier." I also dropped about 25 off at the WV Veteran's convalescent home and asked admin to give them to Vets that don't get visited.

    I think that I'll buy a bunch of cards after Christmas, then next year, include a note saying that I'm stopping sending cards (so don't send me one) and telling folks to send a card to a VA hospital rather than to me. So that in 2020, all my outgoing cards go to Vets.
