They should give the guy a Medal

He did what the justice system cannot, will not do and that is take out the trash.

If you do something so bad that you are put in jail for more than 20 years you should be executed.

A child molester was beaten to death by another inmate just five days after he arrived in prison to serve a 55-year sentence.

Andres Ayon, 19, began striking Agustin Duran, 66, in the face and chest with his fists in a day room of Wasco prison in California on Saturday night.

The teenager kept beating him until guards threw a pepper spray grenade and he surrendered by lying flat on the ground.

Duran was airlifted to hospital but died less than 24 hours later. He was serving a 55 years jail for lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14.

    I don't know what the 19 year olds crimes where....but seeing as it's in California be might have been locked up for anything from giving a hitchhiker a ride to helping the land lady take out her garbage.


    He may very well deserve to be in prison, but I wouldn't mind if he gets a little more time at recess.

    Seems even some criminals have a moral compass, off true north as much as it may be.

    This killing needs to be prosecuted, with swift justice. He deserves nothing more than times served, and early release. Maybe throw in some probation to reinforce his punishment.

    Ayon is in for 6 years for using a deadly weapon while committing 2nd degree robbery. No all-american boy; I would keep him where he is.
    Maybe let him have a letter of thanks from the victim's parents, if they want to send one.

    I disagree.

    Prisoners have got to learn that they have no right to give anyone a beat down. And, they have to immediately obey orders from a CO. When you fail to maintain order in prison, CO's get hurt.

    Charge him with a crime, let him do additional time.

    i understand what he did to the CM when our society seems bent on glorifying all sorts of odd behaviour...think NAMBLA....and lenient punishment meted out by our failing justice system...he will have to do more time but at least with the respect of most all prison society.....

    You're right of course, but it is still enjoyable to muse about the violent end of a predator.

    How is a 66 year old man supposed to serve a 55 year sentence?

    Of course, the answer is it was not intended that he serve the entire sentence.

    How come we can have "truth in advertising" but not "truth in sentencing"? Not that there is any real truth in advertising either.

    He was given a life sentence, and he received a life sentence. Much sooner than he thought, but he's no longer a threat to children.

    Unfortunitly, over the years social class, racial and ethnicity has squed the courts decisions and the people against the death penalty have taken the opportunity of this to dissuade the populous against the death penalty. I believe not to long ago the senus was like 60% in favor however.

    about 40 years ago I had a friend ( co-worker ) whos brother was a guard at the local prison he told me child predators were the bottom of the pile and hated by every one
    every chance some one got they would sucker punch or beat the crap out of them .
    as for the prisoners kill some one rob some one not so bad in ther eyes but just about every prisoner has a kid in the family and they know the kid could have just as easy been theirs or a friends .. they showed no mercy to the predators at that time they wee kept in solitary 23 hours a day away from general population to protect them
